THC during pregnancy is not good for the fetus

Smoking Mary Jane during pregnancy affects the brain development of the unborn baby. The latest study clearly finds that even consuming Cannabis during pregnancy results in the defective development of nerve cells in the fetus cerebral cortex of the brain that orchestrates higher cognitive functions and drives memory formation. The researchers concluded that THC can bring life-long modifications to the brain function of those affected. Not all children exposed to whacky weed in the womb will have immediate and obvious deficits but can have subtle damage that significantly increases the risk of delayed neuropsychiatric diseases. Bottom line: the medical use of Cannabis should be avoided during pregnancy.
