Marijuana side effects

More on marijuana: Smoking marijuana is less deadly than smoking tobacco but studies have shown increased mortality associated with heavy marijuana use – bringing more vehicle crashes driving while high, higher suicide rates, along with slightly elevated risk of respiratory cancers and brain cancers. The non-fatal side effects of marijuana smoking are things like, respiratory damage, cardiovascular disease, impaired cognitive development, and mental illness. But these non-fatal side effects pale in comparison to regular tobacco use. Smoking marijuana is less addictive than tobacco with 9% of users hooked on it vs 32% of tobacco users. The biggest side effect of marijuana is impaired memory in heavy users which can be permanent. A large long-term study shows that people who began smoking marijuana heavily in their teens lost an average of 8 points in IQ between age 13 and age 38.

Marijuana will slow you down mentally.
