HFCS causes fibromyalgia

High fructose corn syrup (HFCS) is a bad deal on any level – unless you are killing rats! Then you can make them obese and stupid according to a recent Princeton study. Not only is HFCS made from GMO corn, the body can’t metabolize it. HFCS is shuffled to the liver as a toxin to be dealt with. When the liver is overwhelmed by too much HFCS, it converts this junk to liver fat, which also increases insulin resistance (a precursor to diabetes), hardening of the arteries and heart disease. But, here’s where food science scores a coup-de-grace: HFCS suppresses the hormone leptin, which tells you when you’re full. Now you can stuff more of this poison down your maw. Another thing leptin does is to normalize peripheral pain sensation inside the spinal cord, while pain signals are en-route to the brain. This action is spelled F-I-B-R-O-M-Y-A-L-G-I-A.
