Football withdrawals

Awww come on peeps; suck it up, would you? Believe it or not, after the final play of the Super Bowl, millions of people go into withdrawal from not being able to watch football for months – for real withdrawals. While football fans watch football, the brain releases the neurotransmitter called dopamine for an addictive pleasure sensation. Then when the pleasurable activity goes away, the person is now left with a real feeling of deprivation. Hard-core fans find themselves in the post-season blues and actually make a scrimmage-line rush for the psychiatrist’s office. Bottom line, football withdrawals shouldn’t be serious enough to require antidepressants. Enjoy the good times and wait patiently for next season.
