Banning antibacterials

Using antibacterial soaps, shampoos and toothpastes actually promote the colonization of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria – in your nose of all places according to the American Society for Microbiology. The antimicrobial triclosan, was recently found in nasal passages of 41% of people sampled, bringing with it a higher proportion of people with the S. aureus colonization. High concentrations of triclosan are now found ubiquitously in both people and animals where it disrupts the endocrine system and decreases heart and other muscle function. The fact is that triclosan is destroying our health and our environment while studies show that regular soap actually does a better job anyhow. Don’t wait for the government ban on this poison – impose your own ban if you want to keep your health.
