Appetite outlaws

Appetite rules: In an inane attempt to “protect” people from their own self destruction, Los Angeles has designed an ordinance intended to curtail obesity in low-income areas. How? By eliminating any new fast-food restaurant startups. But, the fast-food restrictions passed back in 2008 have actually heralded new and higher obesity rates that actually surpass the obesity rate increases in unregulated parts of the city. (The area subject to these fast food rules contains about 700,000 low-income residents). Access to cheap and highly superficial foods has become a birthright for all Americans. Predatory big food companies are lined up to rake in the coins tossed their direction by the feckless masses. Obesity is not a problem that laws and ordinances will fix. Man, by and large, is driven by appetite and not by common sense.

Pro 23:2 And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite.
